Patsy Lee Burr

Burr, Patsy Lee, 82, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, was born on February 16, 1931 in Waverly, Ohio. The daughter of the late Frances and Zelma (Dowdle) Keiser. Patsy passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 15, 2013. She is survived by her beloved children, Larry (Regina) Wilson and Cheri (Jeff) Cline; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Breann (Andrew) Turner, children Jesse, Julian and Alyssa. Chad (Shannan) Wilson, children Hannah, and Cameron. Brad (Barb) Mayse, children Cody, Savannaha, Kristin. Also, Samantha Morrow and Jay Cline. Step-children, Larry (Marjol) Burr, Debbie (Bill) Robertson, Rita (Tom) Monico and Stephanie (Dave) Cutlip. Step-grandchildren, John Burr, Jenny Propst, Jessica Pelfrey and Kurt Byrum. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Burr; sister, Ruth Risley and brother, James Keiser. In her younger years, Patsy worked for Kroger on Main St. before staying at home to raise her children and become a loving homemaker. She had a passion for gardening, making floral arrangements, and painted anything she could get her hands on. She will be remembered by her artistic abilities and her creativity in everything she touched. Patsy loved to take her family on many camping trips and created many memories for her children and grandchildren to hold dear to their hearts. At every gathering, her family could count on her signature dish, pineapple upside-down cake, which everybody loved. She adored her family and the memories she created will always stay with them. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakwood Village and Northside Home Bound Ministries, especially Norma Murray for the care and support they gave Patsy and her family in their time of need. Viewing will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 11a.m.-1p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, where services will begin at 1p.m. Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice in honor of the wonderful care and support they gave Patsy.
